It sucks!! Rent goes up ever time you re-new your lease.. i figure if i stay here long enough it'll reach $1,000 a month!

You could even get a townhouse and use the money that was for rent as your mortgage and at least you would own your home and not just pay rent and get nothing for it at the end.
I'm hoping that when i get a job things will turn around and maybe just maybe i can get out this apartment. If nothing else at least when i graduate...

There's of nice homes down here for a reasonable price but it's getting real hard to get homeowners insurance! I see more and more people down here paying cash for their homes and taking there chances with no insurance.

i agree with this .. hmm... kinda!
my dad had beagles when i was growing up and they were outside only, but they were "redneck" dogs! they roamed the fields, and they loved it and they HATED being inside...i also have a friend who has two pitts and they are outside only, but they love it and are happy, she has a wonderful set up for them, too....
but in those situations my dad and my friend still treated them as pets they were just outside...
i do not agree with chained up dogs outside 24/7.. i think if you have the right set up and don't just "throw" your dogs outside that its ok to have outside dogs... i mean, they are dogs, they love it outside...
Esp when they are small dogs and white. hmm lunch for our guys.

I have been looking in JAX/Orange Park area. Can't believe how some of those homes are so cheaply priced and with land compared to here in MD where a home starts at the low 400,000's and no land. If you want a real nice house with 1acre if you can find it, it's well in the high 700'000's to 1 million. No wonder people in this area work 80hrs a week or more. Gotta pay that high mortgage.
When we moved to WV 9 years ago, things were a lot cheaper. But it has gone up here to. I wouldn't trade it for MD again.

They have a excellent dog beach up there! I live about 3 hours south of there- the county I'm in won't let you walk dogs on the beach but the county that's about a 20 minute drive south of me does.

The area I'm in is a pretty nice area- it's real relaxed, it's kind of out in nowhere but close to things. The link that I'm putting in here is a good place to buy. You can still get lots of property with a nice house for a good price. It's a good thing to have well water and a septic system- water and sewer(if you can get it) costs a ton every month. The first house on this link is about 3 miles from me in a great area. The second is right by the Banana River.

TAXES Pay to much here in MD and we get nothing for it but more TAXES!
Pittsburgh is the same even our wage tax is the pitts and we pay at the beginning of the year $52.00 and they take it out of your first paycheck. I fee sorry for the ones making minimum wage. They do it to me with my measly 7 hr/week but I get it back and then only give them $10.00
We had a rainy day big surplus that our Republican Gov left us and the state was in pretty good shape money wise.
Now, we have a new Democrat Gov and he wants to raise all our TAXES alot and he spent all our rainy day surplus. Idiot!

We lost our beloved Mayor Bob O'Connor to cancer and was only in a few short months this young kid is trying to do what Bob started and I hope he does..They have taxes upon taxes here and some that were only temp ha ha they want to raise

He would not stop begging, I told him I'm sorry you are not on my list, I only donate to animals, four legged ones and please do not call again. Wouldn't you know, last night they called again.

You have to renew your number on the do not call list phone number.
PA just had its renewal and what I tell them when they call is I donate to my local fire department, etc. I have already busted one group with the same 800 number but different name. Another one would not talk to me but to my boss wqs she suprised when she was referred back to me. I told her you would not talk to me when you called those 10 or 12 times and I am not authoriing any donations to you. Never called back.

I just hear that parents who are receiving child support from a parent has to give $25 dollars back to the state each month. How insane is that? The parent who is taking care of the child needs that money.
We will have the highest state sales tax in the nation if "MOM" gets his way, a increase in the gas tax, as we don't spend enough on gasoline, a tax on gym memberships and hair cuts. But, the illegals can go to our state colleges for free. Plus a hug increase tax on new cars, homes. Hey, don't blame me I didn't vote for him, but I have to suffer.

I took my car in and spent lots of money and the check engine light is still on. They replaced what was causing this.. It's not the gas cap, cause it clicked, so it's tight. Any car folks out there with any ideas about the check engine light or tricks?
Watching a TV program for them to cut it with breaking news that really isn't breaking news its news that happened hours agao

When my check engine light came on in the Trail Blazer, I took it to Auto Zone, where they'll do a test for free and tell you what is causing it. For our Trail Blazer, it was water that had gotten down in a spark plug.
We had a problems of a light staying on and it was a fuse that was not where the other fuses were..
My brain not working makes me mad.
How about the brain thinking faster than the fingers can type and you have to go back and edit
I think that's what's wrong with my spelling. My fingers are going faster, plus I'm not checking what I've just typed.

People who you tell not to tape anything on your window glass and they go ahead and use that aweful thick sicky tape and then they don't even bother to try to peal it off. I spent 30mins trying to get it off and it's not all off yet.
