I haven't posted for a long time, but would like to remind anyone with senior greys that are having trouble walking, getting up and down, doing stairs or tend to fall down a lot that I make assistance harnesses that your grey can wear comfortably 24/7. They are custom made to fit your grey and they are a huge help for compromised dogs. I designed these last year when my little heart houndie, Fauna was paralyzed in a collision accident with my other grey. She couldn't walk for 3 months and the harness was the only thing that saved my back (and my sanity!) She's doing better now, but she still wears the harness for extra help.

I also make genuine cowhide tag collars for greys with senstive necks or necks that have been injured. These are also custom made to fit your dog and have the wonderful slide-on stainless steel tags for Boomerang Tag Co. When you order your collar, you can get whatever information you want engraved on the tag and you can choose from hair-on hide (comes in many "greyhound" colors that will blend right in with your grey's coat), smooth leather or buttery soft suede.

Cool items. I like the cowhide tag collars.

I buy all my tag collars from Carol. They are the best. Love, love them. The quality is amazing. I even gotten ones in different colors to go with my martingales (can you tell I'm addicted to collars? lol)

It is so nice to not have all those dangling tags making all that noise.

I haven't had to use the assisting harness yet, but Cara Brockhoff,of Northcoast Greyhounds, swears by them.
