Full Version: the science behind 2012
dad2paisley
on september 12, 2012 earth is going to cross the equator of the milky way and will align directly with sun and pass by the black hole located in the milky way. when it crosses and is the farthest away from the black hole the magnetic pull will shift the mantle and crust of earth and realign the poles on earth. our snow regions will become paradise and paradise will become snow regions...etc... with the melting of the polar caps we will have flood, crop disasters, disease...etc...1/4 of the population including wildlife and plants will be wiped out.

the mayan are not the only ones who have prophisised about this day being the end. the tsalagi, hopi, the chinese with the I Ching book, merlin, and many many more.

the mayans were able to find out where the exact center of our milky way was and named it Hunab Ku, or Galactic Butterfly. and with this know is what they based all their calanders and cosmology after and believed that the future of earth depended on what happened there. (quoted) "They also believed that the "Creator" directs everything that happens in our Galaxy from its center through the emanation of periodic "Consciousness Energy" bursts"
today it has been verified that at the exact spot where the mayans believed what the center of our galaxy was and helt a black hole, is indeed correct.
back in 2002, when the discovery was first made has been proven a black hole eating and creating new stars every day.

contrary to popular myth, the mayans did not predict the end of the earth by the calander ending. instead it is a new begining. with the end of every thing comes a new beginning. rebirth. "mankind will enter and begin a new Era of heightened Consciousness." the mayan believed that the 5th world would end in 1987 and the 6th world would start in 2012. the reason why they did not go forward with the calander is in fact they cannot predict the furure. it is all based in science. and their science has helt fast and is indeed being proven correct. they left it blank because they do not know how the 6th world will end up. will this happen and poles shift? creating caos and looting and more wars or will we come together as one and rebuild? or will this not happen at all and life will go on as we know it?

in summery.

every body is looking at this from a prediction point of view, not from a scientific point of view. ignoring the mayans for a second... we will pass close to this black hole it has been scientificly proven. the question now is how close will we pass? we might eek on by and every thing be fine. worst case scenario.. we pass close enough for the gravitational pull of the black hole to make our polarities shift and earth is in a up roar. it happened before in the past and in rocks it has been proven devistation apon us.

Wow, 2012 is going to be a interesting year. The sun goes through cycles that produce solar storms and 2012 is supposed to be the height of the active cycle for that, too. The energy from solar storms can easily ruin satellites that the world depends so much on and solar storms can also ruin power grids. The power grid in Quebec was taken out by a solar storm a few years ago. That particular solar storm had so much energy in it that the northern lights were seen in Florida.

The magnetic poles have so much to do with keeping the earth in alignment that any large shift would have devasting effects on life itself. So many things have to come together just the right way for life to exist on this planet and when something makes to big of a change, there goes life.

There is more and more evidence that life has in the past, ceased in just a few years not the thousands of years that I was taught in school. They keep looking for the evidence of meteors colliding- could be that just the shift in the poles is responsible for extinction.

2012 should be a interesting year.

wow, should be interesting

Just a lot of psuedoscience with just enough real science to make it semi-believable. Take it point by point and look at what real scientists say. Immanuel Velikovsky, perhaps the most widely known pseudoscientist in recent history was particularly ingenious at deceiving the public, you guys should read his stuff, some of it is perfectly reasonable on the surface. Then go read the enormous amount of material that debunks his stuff, it's fairly entertaining. laugh.gif
