New to the Dewey schedule of events this year is the live show recording of "Greyhounds Make Great Pets" - the Internet radio show that's all about greyhounds, now in it's 3rd year. GMGP has always featured a post-Dewey show with live reports and interviews recorded with attendees but this year the GMGP crew takes the stage at The Bottle & Cork on Friday October 5 at 1pm for a live show. We'll have special guests, free giveaways and the much anticipated Pirates of the Beach contest.

As regular listeners of GMGP knows, every show kicks off with a Party Desk filled with greyhound birthdays & Gotcha Days and the Dewey show will be no exception. If your greyhound - or you - have a birthday, Gotcha Day, anniversary or other celebration you would like announced at the live GMGP show, please send all the particulars ASAP to: celebrations@greyhoundsmakegreatpets.org

Who knows...if you or your greyhound's special celebration falls on October 5th and you are at The Bottle & Cork for the live GMGP, we may just invite you upon stage to join us!!!!

The live GMGP show is part of The Bottle & Cork Experience and just another reason that the B&C is the place to be in Dewey!

That's cool. You were doing this last year or was that Gettysburg?

Last year in Dewey we were doing interviews between the downpours and Mr. Monkey and the rest of the GMGP crew were out and about socializing one evening. I was at GIG doing a live remote back in 2005 when GMGP was broadcast live!!!! It was fun but I sure don't miss those live days.

So this will be the first time GMGP has ever done an entire show out in public. Be afraid...be very afraid....
