mine will be getting fed shortly. I wonder if Softee is going to steal Penske's dinner again tonight

Hounds are fed and watered and pottied. The only one that did not eat is Yes you guessed it Softee

Getting all dogs to the big open field before they take a poop so i don't have to pick up 3 piles!!
I think i'm the only one that actually walks their dogs and not just take them out to potty.. its sad.. poor doggies they don't get any exercise.

Getting some needed house cleaning done today.

Our pups got us up early to. And it was beautiful first thing!!!! It's going to be a chilly day, but a nice sunny one.

Terri had the races on last night for a little bit, but I was to busy being on EG to watch. 
All my kids ate their breakfast this am and Softee at the kitchen doorway telling Dad to hurry up
Suzy didn't throw up her food in 2 days.

Greyt news - I do not have that problem I just have I am on strike and I am not eating

I'm to skinny to go outside right now.
Not having that blizzard lay it only laid on the grassy areas and not on the street.

no wind is right but it is blowing off and on here and making it much colder. Softee was outside trying to eat dirt and pawing at the frozen ground shivering like crazy - she did have her ducky coat on too

Wind finally letting up.
Keeping warm tonight at 11 pm it was down to 6 degrees with over 380 schools delayed or closed for the am

Dave is doctoring up her breakfast with ham - at least we do not have to fight her to get her meds down she finished up yesterday
good on Softee's meds. Sounds like her breakfast will tempt her.

Have you tried giving her meds with peanut butter ? always works for Rosie she will eat anything with peanut butter.

Have you tried giving her meds with peanut butter ? always works for Rosie she will eat anything with peanut butter.
Softee is a sly old gal and knows all the tricks have tried peanut butter, ketchup and even putting it in some things she likes. She seems to mouth the pill and spit it out. the only way to give her med is to jam them down her throat and hope for the best.
Softee is one tough cookie to break!
Well Jimmy you said she was a player. I honestly think she was spoiled before we adopted her 9 1/2 years ago. She had to of been a favorite to retire at the age of 5.

When they retire at that age, they usually are favorites and some get really spoiled.
We have two that retired at the age of 5 Softee and her nephew Penske. He is not as spoiled as she is any spoiling done with him I did but I did hear from his adoption group when I sent them pictures that his trainer would be happy to see and hear about him..
