I guess I quit my job today. I am happy though.

My bosses husband called me on their cell phone (they've been camping the last couple of days) and left a message saying they were going to pick up the computer and supplies in our basement, and they still loved me and hoped I wasn't mad. I have no clue is what's going on. But all along, when they opened their second store in town, they wanted me to work out of one of the stores, and with the hounds, I couldn't leave the hounds home for 9 or 10 hours. But they told me I could continue to work out of the house since I wouldn't budge about going to the new store. But when we got back from Dewey, they've been doing my work out of the store, so I guess that leaves me out in the cold. Oh Well.

You can't leave the hounds and why could they not give you a part time job in the store? I guess we are lucky I work 2 mornings/week and on call and Dave works 3 to 11 so it works out for us. If we do craft shows the pups are not left alone for more than 4 hours without one of us checking in on them and putting them out for potty breaks

When I had 2, I worked 2 days a week for 9 hours, and they were good while I was gone. But now with 5, and with some of them getting older, I won't leave them alone all day. I could work part time during the day down at the store, but my bosses have a way of making you stay all day. (They tell you they have a few errands to run, and they'll be right back, and the next thing you know, it's time to close.)

Well with me my one boss sometimes has a hissy fit if I am there longer than my 3 1/2 hrs but if Ron is there I have to work with him and I told her when he is here I never know when he is done with me.

What makes me happy right now is that I have more time with my hounds.

We got to sleep in about 10mins longer.

I love talking to the people about our puppers when we're out. Sometimes though, you just can't get where you're going, because people stop you constantly.
