Full Version: Doc & Joey - These are the last before Dewey..
JudiK
These two are both gorgeous! I haven't really gotten a good picture of Joey yet, but he is a reddish fawn with a couple of stripes, here he is:

Please pay no attention to Devon, I tried to edit him out, but it didn't take - so you have Devon balancing on three legs. I just don't have time to edit it again.

Doc is a gorgeous red & white parti-colored with lots of freckles on his skin. He is more outgoing than Joey (but Joey is a very sweet dog - it's just that Doc is very enthusiastic about life. Here is Doc:

They both go to see Doc Deaven on Thursday, and a week later they will be off to adoption. I don't think either will be waiting around very long.

Hey Judi, they look great. Ever since Doc's picture was on our website, I've loved him. But they are both very nice looking kids. Have fun!

Very beautiful dogs!

Doc looks like he'd be a brother to our Holly. I keep telling myself, we don't need another yet, not yet, not yet. smile.gif

Both boys were neutered today, had their teeth cleaned, got their shots and were micro-chipped. They need one week of taking it easy at Casa de Kaufman, then they will be on their way to Hettie. We'd like to take them to the picnic this weekend, but that wouldn't be fair to them... it's too soon.

FWIW I think that Joey is absolutely breathtaking. He looks like someone started brindling him, then got distracted and left. I've never seen a dog that looked like him.

So far I would say that both are just cat-trainable. I'm working on it.

These two guys are georgous, they shouldn't be at Hettie's too long before find a home.

I love Joey - he's "into" soft stuffed things. Doc loves bouncy balls. Doc is a good boy who stays off the furniture, but Joey has already picked a favorite spot on the sofa and is keeping his best stuffies there. Doc has a favorite dog bed where he keeps his stuffies - of course no one can lay there anymore because it's full of toys, bones and balls... They are busy, busy, busy - but both are very good boys and I think Joey may have finally gotten the idea about NOT peeing in the house (Doc never, ever, ever peed in the house.)

They are both headed for MD on Friday morning so you may see them at your Meet & Greets this weekend.

I just love Joey's markings! He sounds like a great guy, and I've fallen head over heals for Doc. But he's not cat safe, and even though I don't have cats, I have to many other small critters.

Joey is one handsome pup.

He is sooooo good looking. He looks like he couldn't decide if he wanted to be brindle or not. smile.gif

Joey has a home!! He will have an 11 year old boy and an 8 year old boy - Joey will absolutely love that! He goes home on Thursday since his new Daddy has Friday's off. One down!!

Congrats Joey! Enjoy your new home.
