I hope mine is at the post office. I'll check first thing. I emailed GRTB about the packets last week, because I wanted to have it since we're leaving early.

Still waiting on mine. Hope it arrives soon. Do you think if its not here by Sat I should e-mail them, or just be more patient. We leave on the 1st.
JudiK
19th September 2007 - 10:38 PM
I don't think it does any good to e-mail them... they wait until the last minute to mail them so I don't think it would reach you in time even if they would re-mail. If you don't get it before you leave, you can just see the organizers as soon as you get there - they are usually at the Atlantic Oceanside... people who register late have to pick up their packets anyway, so they are well labeled and easy to find.

I read on the other board that someone who registered and was #2 did not have their packet yet. a lot of them are saying about t-shirts and jackets not in either.

I was number 17 and got my registraion conformation a while back. But I'm waiting on the packet with the vendor list and map, and schedule of events. I did copy the schedule off the internet, but I'm still waiting on the vendor list.
Beryl, is this the packet you just got?
Beryl
20th September 2007 - 11:12 AM
Yes it is also has poop bags (as usual ) and some pins and the other stuff that you always get. There is a delay read the comments on PU4G and GRTB about these packets including the t shirts and jackets... There is a vendor list in the packet but I think you can get it on line check it out

20th September 2007 - 03:07 PM
I had gotten a reply back from GRTB last week and they said the people should have all their info.(vendor list, etc., by Oct. 1st, or they could pick up a copy at Atlatic Oceanside.) But it looks like they've already started mailing. I understood any clothing items were mailed seperately.

Jimmy go to the other two boards and read the squawking about the clothing and packets

I know! What a mess. On the GRTB site, they have a vendor list, but to copy everything on the 1st page, doing a print preview, it is 46 pages long! I'm not wasteing the ink. It should be here on time before we leave. I'm glad I didn't order clothing.

We got our t-shirts too last week.

That's good D2P. Some people didn't get all their order, some got the wrong sizes, what a mess. Glad you're stuff got to you!
We didn't order clothing because at the time we registered, we were'nt sure we'd even have enough money for the trip, but now we're ok.

I'm hoping our packet with all the info arrives this afternoon. Thanks Judi for the reminder that I could pick it up at the AO. You think I would remember that from other years. We got our T-shirts about 2 weeks ago, so hopefully the info will arrive too.
Gee, we have been visiting our daughter, got back on Tues and have been trying to get our mulch spread around. I'v had withdrawal pains being away from here, its nice to be back.

Linda, mine finally came yesterday. Wheww! I really wanted to look things over at home rather than having to do it in Dewey. I thought they'd only send one packet, but it's 2 packets. That cost some money to send.
Beryl
25th September 2007 - 04:44 PM
Hey Jimmy you got two I only got one
JudiK
25th September 2007 - 05:27 PM
I thought it odd that I got two - I guess one was for Bill and the other for me ... we are both registered. But we have always both registered... and in past years I could have sworn that we only got one packet. I would have been happy with one.
I didn't get lucky on the littermates either - I keep hoping that some of Pere or Bookie's littermates will show up some day. I think Rose's littermates are safe and I know that Devon's are... but I worry about the other litters <sigh.>
Beryl

Both our names are in the information but I only ordered 1 - we do not need two of everything
mountain4greys

I thought it odd to. We didn't need 2 packets. Greyhounds in Gettysburg only sent us one when we both registered, and that was fine with us.
Beryl
25th September 2007 - 05:56 PM
Why would someone want two of everything and the money it cost to send all those brochures I wouldn't mind paying extra for the pins to have two put who needs all those extra brochures????

Well, the extra poop bags may come in handy with four along this year... but I could do fine with one set. Beryl - you'll have to tell me how to order one next year.

I surely didn't want two of everything either. I don't even need the poop bags. Terri and I each have a poop bag holder that we hang off of a belt loop, and I had already bought 6 extra rolls of bags for them.
What I don't understand was the cost of shipping 2. It was 8.95. And like Beryl said, why would you need all the extra brochures? By the way, the pins are nice.
Next year, we need only one.
Right now, I'm just happy they came!

JudiK Just check # 1 on the application and then you pay for 1 plus your raffle tickets if you are buying them you put both names on the application. I paid $35.00. If you need extra poop bags I can bring newspaper sleeves (plastic) we save them off of our newspaper and have oodles of them. I shove them into a tissue box and then keep them in the car/van as I usually need them when we do Pet Therapy. We are listed under Burns and will be at the Rehoboth Inn

We received 2 of everything also. If you register 2 people, they will always send each person a set, at least they have the last 5 years, this makes #6 for us.
I'll have to remember to get out the hats also, Skip always wears a hat !
Guess they do that in case each person has their own agenda.
So glad time is getting close, starting to pack the dogs things, sometimes I think its harder than packing for the kids was, double check everything.
