She looks so sweet. There is a different atmosphere in a home wih a Sr. in residence - a serenity that the whole pack seems to tune in to. How old is she again?

She's a retired brood mommy and is 10 but acts like she is 2.

A few people on the board will get to meet her in the fur on Saturday. She, and all our dogs, will be with us at the picnic. I was going to make her a bandanna that says available for adoption but think I'll wait until Dewey since she's through another group. And I'm really not sure I'll have time before Sat. either

H-m-m-m, I believe that Hettie has actually been looking for a bounce for a retired couple who are looking for a Sr. or a bounce... I know that Hettie has placed dogs for other groups before and that she has released dogs to other groups for placement before - do you suppose Lisa would be open to this if someone falls in love with her at the picnic? (It's so much easier to release them to the local group and let them do all the follow-up work...)

I can't answer that but she could give Lisa a call. I will say this though. Etta is a VERY strong dog. Whoever walks her has to have some strength. So it might also depend on the age and strength of the retired couple.
