What supplies and stuff are you taking for your hounds for Dewey?

I won't have my hounds with me, but I hope to remember to toss in some extra poop bags for anyone who visits my shop and forgot theirs.

Hounds can become very stressed during Dewey Beach, so I urge everyone to bring toys and favorite blankies, and to really watch your hounds for signs of stress. They need down time with so much stimulation, and anything that will help them feel safe and happy is something you should consider bringing.

Only one week away!!!

Terri has our list. But I'm thinking:

beds
extra comforters ( they line the van floor, but we can use them in the motel to)
food bowls
food
bringing some water from home (12 gallons)
extra poop bags
flashlight for finding poop at night
coats
extra leashes
first aid kit
tag for their collars with motel name and my cell number
2 xpens
baby gate

And whatever Terri has on the list.

Maybe a couple of toys, but I'm sure we'll get them some there.

6 Elevated food bowels

Doggie First Aid Kit
OFF Spray for us
X-Pen
Dog coats
Dog Harnesses
Natures Miracle
Paper Towels
2 Flashlights
Sun Tan Lotion for the pups (esp. Milky)

I am sure I forgot some things but that's most of it.

we're taking:

Extra collars-know we'll buy more but like extra on hand
Coats & leashes
Rain Coats - just in case
Bug spray - you & them need it for the beach
Beds
Comforters
Crates
Baby gate
Water
Spray bottle for water-if they get warm that comes in handy-just a simple bottle from Dollar Store to carry with us
First aid kit
Paper towels
Spray cleaner
Small portable vac-hand held
2nd spray bottle with white vinegar & water for "pee" smell
espcially if they keep going in the same spot outside
I know there's more but I can't find my list

all those lists sound close to ours but we also take a night light so that we do not step on sleeping hounds if we have to get up in the middle of the night. We also take frozen water from home which helps keep anything perishible cool in our coolers and then we have water to drink on our trip..We also have to take extra leashes Hershey has chewed them in half if we are not watching her

Just got a sign for our door at our Picnic I think it says Fast Hound or something like that inside..So far it looks as if they have more supplies than us.. We put obeds on the floor of the van and then put their comforters on top on them. I swear some of their comforter that have been given to them I would love to use myself
