Our Phawn would of been 10 on October 5. She was such a sweet loving girl but was a daddy's girl did not want him leaving the house not even to go to work. We only had two short weeks after she was diagnosed with her osteo and I still cry thinking about her.

Dear Sweet Phawn you are sadly missed by all who knew you. We will see you agan my sweetheart.
All our love
Mom, Dad and your sisters

She was the only one that I picked out. We were looking for a petite and when I saw Phawn it was petite out the window and her Dad stood still with his eyes as big as saucers when he saw her. She was so afraid of thunder and fireworks that the first night we had her we were moving furniture around to block the window. She acted as if she was going to go through it due to the thunder storm. Dad laid on the floor with her even tried to make a bed in the cupboard (with the door open) for her. Nothing worked. We were half the night downstairs drinking coffee until the storm passed. She would let you in the house but you could not leave by the front door or even go upstairs to the BR without an escort. She would grab you by the seat of your pants and stop you. Only my oldest grandson Adam could come and go. I would have to get her attention for her dad to go to work or leave the house. It just broke our heart when our vet said it was time. He did a post mortem x-ray on her and in two short weeks it went from her hip to her pelvis and her pelvis looked like swiss cheese. Knowing how bad it was did help but it still hurts after all this time.
