What's your call name mean? - everythinggreyhound

Since I'm new here...I thought I'd introduce myself & explain my call name & then everyone else could do the same.
I'm Hilda...that's the introduction. he he he
My call name is Snowy8...she's my first official adopted greyhound...she ran her last race in August (8th month) 28, 1998 out of the #8 box. She broke her right hock during that race & was thisclose to being put down but her trainer said no. I'm glad he did.
I had to pick a password one day at work & I just suddenly said Snowy & they asked for a number to go with it...uh...Snowy8.
I had 9 greys at the time...Snowy9 didn't sound right. So from then on all my passwords were Snowy8.
So....what's your story?

Hi my name is Beryl it is such an odd name so I decided to use here on the board

I was born in England and came to the States at the ripe old age of 10, mom to 6 skin kids have 9 grandchildren and an angel. Have been told I am going to be a great grandmother shortly

. I have 6 furbabies 1 is not a racer but rescued out of an Ohio Kill Shelter and we think she is 4 - starting to grey and looks like a backwards racoon. I have 4 Bridge Angel Greyhounds and miss them all dearly.

Hi, my name is Lorraine. I'm not exactly new here but I don't post often. I have two greyhounds Missy and Duke so my name is self explanatory.

hmm.. i don't really know if i can explain my name.. but it doesn't have to do with the beer i can say that much... i would explain it but its a long drunken story from 5 years ago....

Hi Hilda, my name is Tara. I have 2 dogs a grey (Tyson) and a Labrador retriever(Remy). As for my sign in name well after getting my first (of many...I hope) greyhound I realized what a greyt dog he is ... lame I know but I don't have a very good imagination. I hope you enjoy your time here as much as I have.

Hi Lorraine-my name is Linda,my husband and I are owned by 3 greyhounds. Isis was our 1st, Thor our 2nd and our foster failure, Clark. I always tell everyone how much I love our greys so thought it was good to use, since it says it all.
