Since Halloween is just a few weeks away, is anyone planning on going on any ghost tours? I just love these types of tours. Several years ago we went on one in Ellicott City, Maryland, it was so much fun, plus, I learned a lot of history of this very old town that I lived in for many years. One day I hope to take a tour of haunted London and fill my curiosity about the city's horror-storied past.

I like the Ellicott City Tours. I'd like to go to that small town in PA that was on that dvd.

Oh yes, I want to go "America's most haunted town", New Hope, Pennsylvania.

No ghost tours but I have a story that might give you chills. 2 years ago I lost my brother in a motorcycle accident. We were very close and I'm still not over it. I had a really hard time and all I could think about was Ray. Lots of crying. My youngest daughter and son in law knew I had gone to see John Edwards (medium on TV) several times but never got read in a group setting. So, they got me a one on one with a well known physcic in our area. When I walked in she said wow - usually when somebody comes in they may bring in one or two "entities" but when you came in the room started filling up. I can believe this since I've lost almost all my relatives except for a few cousins and one evil aunt who will live forever. Anyway, she had suggested I bring a tape to record the session (1 hour session) because it's hard to recall everything being said. She put the tape in the machine and said testing 1 2 3 4 5 about 4 times. Played it back to make sure the tape was ok and it played back exactly as she had recorded it so we proceeded. She told me things nobody could guess at, named names and events and freaked me out. When it came to my brother which was the whole reason for this, she could only tell me that he said he got "tapped" and that's how the accident happened. My brother was visiting PA at the time and we never got an explanation as to what happened that really told us anything. I'm still not 100% sure how it happened. He'd been riding for over 40 years and wasn't reckless-plus it was a winding road and there was no way he could have had any speed going. So, until I see him again I won't know the whole story. Anyway, I got home and the next day I played the tape. Keep in mind that the tape was fine when she played back the test. For the first 3 minutes of the tape and the only way I can describe the noise without you actually hearing it is that it sounded like ghosts from the old time movies. Not exactly but I think that paints a picture. It was bone chilling to hear it and what I think it was is the sound of the "energy" of all my relatives coming into the room. Plus, she said the sign from my parents is the smell of flowers when there are no flowers around. Right after she said that the room we were in smelled like a funeral parlour. She said do you smell that? I said yeah, but I thought it was something you had in the room but why didn't I smell it before? As soon as she ended the session, the smell was gone. At the end of the session she gives "everyone" permission I guess you'd call it, to go back. There was no smell of flowers anywhere in the building and she didn't have any in the room we sat in. Ok - I'll freak you out a little more. At the end of our session she said close your eyes and put something in your brother's hand that will be a sign between the two of you. I put a butterfly in his hand. I have a butterfly tattooed on my right shoulder which was old and I had redone shortly before Ray's death. He did get to see the new one but never saw Missy and Duke on my left shoulder. Anyway, a week after this my co-workers/friends and I were sitting outside at work smoking. There are no flowers in the atrium where we go. My friend Janice said, don't move - you have a butterfuly on your shoulder and I thought she was joking because it was summer and you could see the butterfly tattoo because of the top I had on. She wasn't joking, there was a butterfly sitting on my shoulder. Never in my life has that happened. As it flew away I looked at it and it was the exact coloring of my old butterfly tattoo. My friend Janice said that was your brother. My sister and I and even my husband the non believer have had butterfly incidents happen since then. One was hanging out with my sister in her backyard for about an hour. Didn't fly away - just stayed near her where she sat. My husband (and I find this amusing since he doesn't believe it 100% but more now than before), had an orange butterfly follow him from his car in the food store's parking lot right up to the front door of the building. He said it was next to him the whole way. I said - did you say hello to Ray? Then just a month ago he was on the golf course and a butterfly followed him for about 6 holes. Just stayed near him the whole time, not any of his golfing buddies. I believe there is life after death and the session with the physcic gave me comfort. I plan on going again. Lorraine

I remember when the accident happened we were supposed to meet at Dewey and then found out about her brother. Lorraine told me about her meeting and it gave me goose bumps even back then. I have had a few similar encounters. My sister in law whose perfume i kept smelling at my house and she had never been in my house and my purse snatched from my arm at the church when my kids grandmother was being burried - she never wanted me to wear black which I had on. My youngest who I was pregnant with when she died who was the spitting image of her when she was born.
