You cannot possibly be serious about losing freedoms under Hillary. Your beloved Bush supports torture, warrantless surveillance, illegal monitoring of opposition groups, ethnic and religious profiling, mass arrest and detention of perceived "foreign radicals" to mention just a few. Using the Patriot act to go after americans in many criminal matters not remotely related to terrorism. The intimidation and interrogation of people for simply speaking out against the president. I mean c'mon, interrogating the family of a grade schooler because he drew a violent picture involving the president in class. Using the patriot act to gain warrants against doctors and scientists who were warning our gov't about the possibilities of bioterrorism by outside groups. It doesn't get much more oppressive than that.

I am not saying that Bush is a great president, he has made lots of mistakes but if Gore or Hillary become president, I don't think Gore will run, he is making to much money flying in his non global safe private jets polluting our air, living in his mansions that cost him over 32,000 in electric bills, and I believe there are lots of people who won't vote for a woman any women to be in that high of office.
I believe the Dem. run congress has the worst poll ratings and they haven't done a darn thing that they promised us if they were elected. The American people were ripped off by them.

I no longer believe it's possible to get any worse than it is under the current administration.
cheryl2 ... you haven't lived in Canada under our previouos "socialist" government. We pay huge taxes(husband's personal federal income tax level is 26 or 28% that is not including provincial and municipal taxes, provincial sales tax or something we have called GST). What is our prize for all this tax ... overpaid politicians and having absolutely no say, we have very few personal rights and freedoms. Our health care system that your democrats think shows standardized healthcare can work ... DOESN'T. I am waiting to get my kids in to see their family doctor we are now into February before they can get in and I have been trying since the beginning of August, I am told they are all booked up please call back in a week. Our military servicemen/women's income in some cases are below our government standard poverty level(people on social assistance can make more). Our country talks about its enviromental programs but then sells our surplus allowed units to China and other countries. The only people prospering in Canada are illegal immigrants, criminals and those on welfare(a single mother with 3 children can make more staying at home then being a secretary, what is the insentive to work then) ... which hard-working Canadians pay the bill for. Your current administration has made mistakes but trust me it could be worse!!!! We have a MUCH better government who so far has kept it's promises ... amazingly ... but it will take them a long time to undo the damage done in the last 12 years of Liberal (equivalent ... sort of ... to your democrats)governing. Sorry to rant ... thought I would give you all a peek into the slice of pie that is Canada LOL.

I'm familiar with the Canadian health systems, I have several friends up there and one of them has had significant health issues. But then, I'm not a big fan of socialism. Neither am I a fan of the fascist leanings of our current gov't. There's a middle ground and eventually someone will step up to the plate with a reasonable moderate stand.
No, Gore won't run. Where has he been lately. He is one of the gang of 4 who hates Hillary. You might see him later endorsing Obama.
