Full Version: October Fosters - Three of them this time!
JudiK
Barney and Gracie are from Orlando and they have arrived already. Judas is coming from Tri-State and will arrive at 7:00 tonight, too late for pics. So - for now, here's Barney:

Oh yea - and my helpful homemaker tip for the day - if you need more room to foster more dogs, get rid of that old piano that no one has played in fifteen years. Those of you who know me will know that this is much more roomy now that the piano is gone... there might even be room for a couple more crates in a pinch... <g>

Barney was brought up for a couple who already have three (2 girls and a boy - they wanted one more boy to make their family complete - they've been waiting for Barney to retire since last Spring.) They are really good adopters and this will be a great home for him - he already has a Ravens coat, I think his Dad bought it from Trish at the group picnic last month...

Gracie is probably going to a home that I can't remember any details about - but I've been sending them pics through the group. I think she will be a first greyhound...

Judas is probably going to a home with two cats and a well-behaved 4 year old boy.

They all have surgery tomorrow and my next pair are coming on the 11/2 Freedom Run out of Orlando.

Judas is really getting into collecting stuff - I don't know where he is going to sleep tonight... I'm going to have to clean some of the junk out of his crate before bedtime. I will post a pic before I clean it out - the collection is already pretty impressive, but he's still working at it...

Everyone made it through surgery just fine. Sorry it took so long to post, but here is Judas crate at the end of the evening:

I also wanted to share this one - what a difference a week makes!! That's Barney in the corner - his owners don't want to crate, so we've been letting him sleep wherever he wants - he wants that corner. And Gracie is a lap dog, who would have guessed?

Judas' crate looks as bad as under the cutting table where Penske takes all the stuffies, etc.

Still love that crate

All are placed. The last one (Judas) is waiting at Hettie's for his family to pick him up on Thursday - they have a long weekend to help him settle in.

Two new ones (Michelle and Ready) arrived on Saturday but I haven't had time to photograph yet - will try to do that tomorrow and start a new thread.
