We picked up our dog on Saturday and the last 2 evenings I took him to the local little league fields with the kids and our chiuaua Toby. It's the perfect place for them to get excercise because it's within walking distance of the house and there are 4 completely fenced in baseball fields. I have never owned a dog so big and so FAST! Poor Toby tried to keep up with him and Elmo actually made a sideways turn and ran RIGHT OVER THE TOP of Toby, it was the funniest thing we had ever seen. Luckily he kind of leaped over him or Toby would have been trampled, I can't believe how well they get along. I was kind of skeptical when my wife said she wanted to get one of the racing dogs, (she grew up next to one as a kid), but I have never met a dog that could run like a horse then when you say STAY he lays down and rolls over so you will rub his belly. I took pictures and will hopefully be posting them tomorow night.

I would love to see the pictures! We've had Ace for nine months now and he's my first big dog, too! We live within walking distance to the high school and that's where we let the IGs and Ace run around - completely fenced-in, of course! To tell you the truth, Ace doesn't really run all that much. He basically just mosies.
