If Al had won we would be sitting here with our thumbs up our bum's.. We would be sitting by and letting all terrorists bomb the United States and Al would just sit there behind his desk and be another Bill Clinton just waiting for the next president to take over his mess...

It is a sad day in America when we talk about who to vote for in terms of the lesser of 2 evils. I don't think any of the candidates listed above share even a majority of ideals with the vast population of voting public. If either of the two socialist (and yes Cheryl2, both democratic nominees most closely align platforms with the socialists of Europe-as does the entire democrat party) candidates would happen to find themselves in office, Tara better get a bed ready for me in Canada!!!

I certainly don't want Hilliary in office!! It would be great to have a woman president, just NOT her!! I went with other because I think that any one of all of our (us on the board) greys would do a much better job!!! Maybe I'm biased, but I would vote for Oreo as president and Neba as vice president, or maybe the other way around so that a female could be president. Yeah, that's it!! She keeps Oreo in line, so she should be able to keep the rest of the country in line!! When all the nominations came up earlier this year, late last year, I was in support of Tom Vilsak. Then when he dropped out, and said he supported Hillary, I wondered what was wrong with my head to support him!

Rudi or Thompson are my choices.

I don't have a "dog in this fight" however I can say that socialism should be seen as what it is a social agenda of the minority being shoved down the throat of the majority. Socialism has a strong foot hold in Canada but in the last election a step was made away from it. From what I know of the Democratic party it is headed down that road. Hitler first got elected on a socialist platform ... make it better for the people, share the wealth ect. The scary thing about socialism is it tricks people into thinking it is good for everyone. Trust me there are consequences to socialism and it's programs ... we have teenagers here having children so they don't have to work or go to school, people not willing to work for minimum wage because they can make more sitting on there a$$ at home, a health care system that requires cancer patients to wait up to 6 months for treatment and there is no alternative even if you can afford it (many go to your country and pay for treatment), large personal income tax (depending on your tax bracket 18-32%), marajuana is not considered illegal (police don't prosecute). Our family would move to the States in a heart beat (with the exception of California, New York or Vermont, sorry don't want to offend anyone living in those states).

P.S. We watch alot of American news (because ours is to biased to stomach) and I think if I could vote it would be either Fred Thompson or Rudy (although I don't agree with all of Rudy's social ideas).

If Fred Thompson enters the race, do you think he would win the Republican nomination and be able to beat Hillary?
