There was a court case against the finance director (he was aquitted) and the campaign treasurer was heavily fined and made to amend his reports to the FEC. An appeals court dropped hilary from the lawsuit by paul this month, she will be deposed still but not a defendant. Anti-SLAPP laws, protecting politicians from frivolous lawsuits during election campaigns.
