I don't know if alot of people realize that quite a few of the people that haul pets don't have the radio on while they are driving. It helps with hearing potential problems with the trucks, tires and scuffles between dogs that are together in the same compartment in the trailer or dog truck. In trying to keep on top of those potential problems, it also creates another one- we are cut off to bad situations as far as traffic is concerned.
Greyhound Welfare gave me a heads up to a bridge problem in DC that could have been a nightmare if I would have gone the way I normally take around DC. Traffic was backed up 10 miles when they called me to find out if I was planning on taking that way and it really would have been disasterous if I would have taken that loop. They provided me with an alternate route and saved the day as far as I'm concerned!
Thank you Greyhound Welfare peeps!!!
