I am looking for a cheaper but quality food for my guys. Right now I am paying about $65 every week and a half ... they seem to be eating alot (the max recommended feeding and still seem hungry). I have had it suggested that I feed Eagle Pack Holistic Anchovy, Sardine and Salmon (I think?). I have dogs that are highly allergic to many things (one sesame seed away from living in a bubble as my son says). No poultry, wheat, soy, corn or diary. The Eagle Pack Holistic meets that criteria and feeding amounts are less and bag is bigger for about the same price. Others have said bag lasts alot longer than any other food they have tried. Anyone have any opinions or have used this food?
Thanks,
Tara
P.S. This is the only reason holding my hubby back from getting another grey as well ... It will cost the yearly budget for a small island country to feed them.

I researched the distributors of Solid Gold and could actually buy the food much cheaper if I purchased directly from the distributor, but I had to buy at least 6 bags at a time. If memory serves, it was about $10 cheaper per bag this way. I have since moved away from the distributor and couldn't go pick it up from her.
I also thought Pinnacle looked good - (I ordered this as well directly from the distributor, had the distributor deliver to a pet store close to my home, and since they didn't carry the product normally, they just charged me a few dollars over wholesale for the trouble of getting it from the dsitributor, it was defintely not as expensive as listed below, I think it was more like $30 per bag) I want to add that I would probably still be feeding this, until Effee turned her nose up after awhile. She told an animal communicator that it smelled funny.

Good luck! You can typically find the distributor on the company's website. Then just call them and ask if they are willing to work with you to get the food you want.
