Etta is still waiting for her forever home. We did have someone interested in her but they never showed on Sunday. We are hoping that this weekend at the holiday event, someone will adopt her. She is such a sweetie.

I wish we didn't live so far away from the kennel. My mother inlaw was on a med cruise these past 2 wks. We got a call friday night from Tom's brother. Mom's dog passed friday evening. Toby was a 13 yr old silky terrier. He was the last thing Tom's dad gave to his mom before he passed away. Not knowing what to do and there was no way I was going to let Tom call him mom on the cruise ship I called a friend and had Toby picked up the next morning to be creamated. I didn't know what else to do Mom knew there was a possibility he might not make it till she got home. He had congestive heart failure and the vet said there was nothing left they could do for him but make him comfortable. She is so so lost with out her little man as she called him.
I just wish I could talk her into getting Etta cause I know she won't last very long with out a dog. She has always had one. I know Etta would be a great companion for her. I will bring it up to Tom and see what he thinks.
