We woke up to snow this morning! Quite a bit of very wet snow. Peanut's reaction was WOW!

Luckily (I cannot believe I am saying this) the snow has stayed, so I was able to go out and take a few pics. Put them all together plus a video clip for you.

How sweet to watch them play in the snow. I remember Shadow our Georgia gal who made her own race track in the snow when we first go her.

The first time our Florida boy Skyy saw snow last year, he freaked!! He would not go near it. It took quite a bit of coaxing, but now he loves it.

When I first got Snowy & Pegasus...we had a snow in I think, December...seems like it snowed & iced over Christmas eve. I put their little coats on, and then worried about what they would do...had they ever seen snow before? It took about 5 minutes for that to sink in, then it dawned on me, boink...they both raced at Southland which is right across the river & they have the same weather we do...duh!
They both took off running & playing...couldn't get them to come in...finally their feet were pink from the cold & I made them come inside. Later I got to looking at their pedigrees...Snowy was born in Colorado & Pegasus was born in Kansas & raced in Wisconsin...I think they've seen snow.
