Thought I should let you all know how my first week of retirement has gone.

I kind of like the retired life. I spend the days while mom and dad are at work at home with the other dogs and cats. Then we play in the yard when mom and dad get home. I ran a few laps with Lincoln but Lincoln and Bear are a little crazy for my taste. I'm much more of a lady then that.

But in the evenings is when the real retirement starts. I go with mom to stay with her aunt overnight. Aunt Ruby will be 84 next week and mom doesn't want her alone at night. I really like Aunt Ruby and she really likes me. I got to spend the afternoon with her yesterday while mom ran some errands. I found a really comfortable place to sleep. It's called a recliner. Mom took a bunch of pictures of me in it.




Mom was laughing at me when she took this one. I don't know what was so funny.


I've found other places to sleep too. There are the love seats and another chair but I like the recliner best. I've also learned how to give a really sad look when anyones sitting in the recliner. Want to see?


Well, that's all for now. Got to get back to retirement.
