I just got an email from Beryl. Al's cancer has now spread to the back of his brain, and he can no longer swallow water. He's starting to get weaker, but still has lucid moments, and was joking with his sister and sister in law.

Prayers that when it's his time, he will go peacefully. And also for his family.

I sent her a note, if there's anything I can do...I know I'm too far away to come over & let the dogs out or anything, but I'm not too far to send up prayers.

Thank you Jimmy for posting for me. I am now hoping that with the snow that is coming down that we can get off this hill and up the other hill to go see Al. We are expecting 2 to 4 inches of snow here and more to the south of us (up to 6 inches)
