If work isn't crazy enough, got an email...lost greyhound. So I joined in the search in Memphis...not exactly the safest area of town, but it wasn't too bad. Sad thing is, its cold. Good thing is, the greyhound actually had on jammies! Even better thing...he was found & reunited with his mommy. Today!
On Tuesday, got another email, lost greyhound in another part of Memphis...he was reunited with his mommy today also.
So when I got home, I hugged my puppies even though Jack had pulled one of the cushions off of the couch, Gogh & Snowy turned over the garbage.
Hey...when do they outgrow the garbage thing? Snowy is 13 & had a stroke the first of November...is it because I never let her read Adopting a Retired Greyhound??? emo-cheer2.gif

Aside from the cold and overturned garbage, sounds like a pretty good day. Nice to here about houndies that make it home!

I never get tired of hearing the stories that have good endings. Glad both those pups found their way back home.

I feel for you with the garbage situation. Some just don't want to learn. emo-hehe.gif

I do believe that your pups did not read Greyhound 101. Jams is 11 and she loves to get into our re-cycled and drags it all over the dining room. I now have a gate blocking the re cycled can.

Glad all the pups are home with their families

How awesome! Two Greyhounds reunited with their people. Super fabulous! Oh, geez, don't mention the garbage thing to Ace. So far, he hasn't raided anything!

I found out later in the week that actually 3 had gotten out & were lost. One was in Jonesboro Arkansas....now the real "buster"....NONE of them had on an id tag...they all had on collars, but no tags!
All three got a good, gentle, "blessing" from several people AFTER the dogs were found & we updated our website with tips on what to do, who to call when your greyhound gets out. Don't just sit there & cry...take a deep breath...call the adoption kennel...we have a team of people who will do all the fliers, searching, calling...thanks to websites like Everything Greyhound!!!
