ANDERSON, Ind. (UPI) -- A Salvation Army bell ringer working outside an Indiana Wal-Mart allegedly used his break to steal Christmas tree ornaments from the store.
Sean Sayers of Anderson was arrested at the store Tuesday, The Anderson Herald-Ledger reported.
Store employees said Sayers sang "The First Noel" as he picked up ornaments worth $19.82, hiding them in his jacket and in a bag from a Subway sandwich shop.
Sayers, who was on probation from another conviction, was charged with a misdemeanor. He is being held on a probation violation charge.

They arrested a bell ringer in this area last week for stealing the bell and the pot. He went to different locations ringing for money that he was going to use himself. Glad these people got caught.
