Meet Roxy!


She's an almost 2 year old giant bundle of love who's dad joined the Navy and didn't have anyone who could take her. I used to run into him and Roxy when I'd walk Jack & Chloe at a park near my house, so when I found out she was at one of our local rescue/adoption places, I said I'd foster her.

As you can see, she gets along great with my kids. In fact, she gets along with all creatures, great and small.

The guy that had her got her from animal control. It always amazes me to see the type of dogs that end up at the pound. I don't think she'll be with me long. She is the sweetest pup ever!

What a gorgeous dog! And how nice of you to foster her. Great Danes are awesome dogs and a lot like greyhounds. I hope that she finds her forever home soon. Thank you for giving her a home while she needs it.

awww.. i just love great danes!! they are such big goobers! one of Al's play mates is a great dane named Hannah.. sometimes i don't know if people are talking to her or me!

The only time she slobbers is when she drinks water - and then it's like my kitchen's been flooded *grin*. At least she doesn't fling food all over (Tip) or drop pieces in the water bowl to dive for later (Chloe).

She's just a big love, though. Snuggles on the couch, leeaaanssss into whoever is petting her. Yep, she'll find a home soon.

Ah, Geez... I just love those big old goofballs. I once had a Great Dane/Dobie mix and still miss her.

Thank you for taking in a beautiful dog who needed a foster home. These fosters that we take care of always fill our hearts with joy.
