I have to tell you all about our new foster. His race name was Part Time Jeff and his adopters named him Nebby, short for an egyptian name for Lord of The Wind.
He came to our group because the group he was adopted from had closed down and so they called our group.
Nebby is a 9 1/2 yr old brindle male, and of course his face is turning white, he is such a handsome guy. Their work hours had changed and they felt they could no longer give him the attention he deserves. I applaude them for having the courage to do this for his benefit.
He is beautiful inside and out. I have 3 greys and they all have gotten along since he came to stay with us last week. I cannot find anything wrong with him. He is such a love bug. I know there is just the right family for him who will love him and give him the attention he had earned.
Saying my prayers and keeping fingers crossed the right person applies for a senior boy.

Linda, I've heard nothing but good things about this boy. I know he's in the right hands at your house, and I hope he finds his forever home very soon.

Are we all still waiting on pictures?
It sounds like he's in a really good foster home...is there a good chance he'll get real spoiled?

Thanks Jimmy for posting Nebby's picture and for telling us at the Meet & Greet how to post pictures and to NYGreys for getting the picture on the web for us. We are learning so hopefully it will get easier, and thanks for the comments about our beautiful brindle foster. Nebby may be almost 10 but you would never guess it, he is just a greyt guy.
He is learning not to counter surf. So far he has gotten a raw chicken thigh, can of mixed nut and a bag of 5 doz chocolate chip cookies. Between him and Isis I spent a few nights making sure they were ok and adding a little more grey to my hair. The nuts passed through with no trouble and since the chocolate chips were mixed with sugar, butter and flour there were no problems. Oh, yes, the little thieves did leave 4 or 5 cookies in the bag in case we wanted any.
How can you not love these guys!!!!

Oh those counter surfers - I remember our angel Phawn would surf for bread and eat whole loaves plus buns - not sure if she shared. One day our Hershey came trotting out of the kitchen with a whole loaf of bread with her head held high (she had to carry it that way as the bread was as tall as she was) carrying it by the twistie end. Did not do any damage or put holes in the wrapper either.

Thanks, Linda, for taking such good care of Nebby! He looks wonderful! And no one can believe how old he is. He has put on weight, his skin and coat look wonderfu, and he looks so happy and contented. I love hearing about his counter surfing exploits!
