Thank you Beryl and Jimmy for your help with the issue with Tyson biting my DH. Things are starting to get back to normal. It was really unexpected because we have had Ty for a year and 4 months with only a very few issues of possessive behaviour (always food related and always with my DH). It will take my DH a bit to fully trust him again but he is working on their relationship and all is going well so far. emo-Thanx.gif again guys, not only did you give greyt advice to deal with Ty but kept me sane as well.

You're welcome Tara. We've had these issues in our house with my wife and greys before. Terri works all day, so she doesn't get to spend the time with the hounds like I do. I've proven myself as the Alpha in our house, and I had to help Terri do the same thing. The puppers always tried to show they were "top dog", including showing teeth, nipping, things like that.

I told Terri to use a stern voice, and make them get off the couch. You hubby doesn't want to ever grab them by the collar because they will bite then. Just prove to the dog that you're the top dog, and they will listen.

I hope things continue to go well. emo-bighead.gif
