somethings in movies i don't understand..

first one... scenario is a criminal holding a gun up to a man and then the wife comes from behind the corner and knocks him with a frying pan (or 2x4 or something) hits him once and knocks him down and the gun goes flying... then the woman proceeds to run.. soon the man gets up and gets his gun and catches up with woman

OK why don't they just beat the #$%^ out of them get the gun and kill him! i know it adds to the drama when the chase scene continues but after that i don't care if wife gets killed... she's an idiot, should have beat the %^& out of him when u had the chance..

second one... a man or woman find their lover or kid shot or beat up.. they run to him and hold them and cry and scream... uh.. RUN AND CALL 911 you dumbass!!! again i know it adds to the drama factor but not for me, i just think they are idiots..

any move scenarios get on your nerves? (besides big breasted blonde running up the stairs when she should be running out the house?! )

I'm with you on the whole hit the bad guy with something then run scenario. I hate it. I'd beat the living crap out of him and probably unload and entire clip into the creep. I've seen Halloween. I've seen Friday the 13th. I KNOW they're going to get back up.

These same scenarios alway piss me off to. I know they want to put more drama in the movie, but this is so stupid! When the gun goes flying, get the gun! How stupid do you have to be to run?

The other one I hate is when the woman shoots the man, then puts the gun down and walks over to the body, only to find he's still alive and grabs her. Wouldn't it make more sense to carry the gun with you if you want to check to see if he's dead? Arrrrggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!

oh another one... when a lady is being stalked and she hears something downstairs and goes to find out what it is and she screams when she see's the guy or he grabs her.. well WTF else did you think was gonna happen!!

This is a really neat topic Stripes! I know there are a lot more of these types of movie situations out there. I know everybody has something they really hate in movies.

how about this one..

someone is running from bad guy... that someone keeps looking behind them and then they trip.. they get back up, they are running, they look behind them and trip... they get up and still look behind them while running

That always makes me so mad!!!! When they run, and trip. The stalker never trips, but the victim can't seem to stand up. Then they twist their ankle. Arrgggggg!!!
