Softee ate her dinner tonight and half of Jams - Ms Jams walked away from hers and Softee must of thought alls fair in love and food. I was a nice Mommy and made Jams more foodl.

Beryl, that's good info from Dr. O.....Snowy gets 4 cups a day but probably leaves a 1/2 cup in her bowl. Sometimes she leaves cause her bowels have "activated" and she wants outside. By the time she comes back, Gogh has cleaned her bowl...so I've cut him back...he's such a little tubs.

Okay Hilda will get you some pics let me see what we have. Dr. O said he wants some of her gene where she does not gain weight. I am going to look for some when we first adopted her. I know I have a nice one with her sissy Shadow who is now at the Bridge.

Some days Ms Softee eats her nephew's food and her sissy Jams' food so I end up giving them more. I have learned with Softee to put her out for potty right before I feed and then she is usually okay until she is done eating

I do that with Snowy...but I think her innerds are getting so soft that she just can't hold it....however now that I think of it....when I come home, she potties, but doesn't poop...hmmm

Softee would have to leave her dinner and then did not want to eat when she came back in so now with this new system of putting her out when I am making it usually works unless she is in a "I will eat when I feel like it and when you give me what I want". That gal has more food in the fridge than I do.

Yesterday we got her to eat with a chili dip but putting some on her food. We bought it from Gordons Food Service and it also had Jalapeno peppers in it. Has a Mexican/Spanish name which I have posted on another thread (can't remember it right now). Also while we were eating dinner last night she was again begging food off of us and had shrimp, fries and crumbies (the stuff that comes in the fryer and we also make some for the kids out of the left over batter) we just sprinkle on their food. To them it is a treat just like their after dinner treat which is Nutra Dental. They will torment you if you do not give it to them.

Softee has been doing greyt with her meals even if she steals food from the others or plays musical bowls. Some days she eats about 5 cups a day and then other days maybe 1 1/2 to 2 cups.
