I'm picking up a possible new foster tomorrow and it's a Mountain Cur. He's a beautiful dog who has some cat/small furry issues in his current foster home. He's apparently a boy with a prey drive, and since I have some experience with that (ahem, Chloe, are you listening?), I get to do an evaluation on him.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has either had or been around any Mountain Curs, and what your experiences were. I've read what the UKC says about them, I've been to the breed parent club, and I've done a bunch of other searching online, but there really isn't a whole lot out there other than very basic stuff. Some personal stories would be a big help. Thanks!

Never heard of a Mountain Cur, I have to go look it up now.

They're really kind of interesting. Finn's here now, so I'll post some pictures as soon as I get some good shots and give you all the rundown on his story.
