What a week...Sometimes I really wish I could work from home...but this is Saturday so I'm savoring...
nyGreys here on EG sent me a collar & leash set that she had gotten for her gorgeous guy Rusty...
Rusty passed away about 7 months ago & everytime she got the collar out, her heart broke some more. So last week she sent it to BuyCut. Well Cutter went to be with Rusty at the bridge...so Jack & Gogh inherited the collar. It looks great on both of them.
However...its so beautiful, I don't want them wearing it all the time, so they wear their tag collars Hurricane made for them (for my birthday).
But when was the last time you took a new collar off a big yeller dog. Everytime I went to reach for it, Jack would back up. I even tried scratching his neck & ears, hugging..."here's a treat big guy"...Ha! They read your mind!!!
Finally...Thursday I came home from work & Jack is a bouncer...he literally bounces in one spot when I come home...so to keep from knocking Snowy down, I always hold his collar & make him try to stand in one spot. Ah ha!!! I slipped the collar off, opened the back door & he never noticed!

Lucky for you Hilda outsmarting your pup. Mine usually get me - Softee and Jams will not longer eat bread. We were giving them bread so we could get their antibiotics in them for two weeks so i guess they figure bread is time for the pills.

I thought I was doing good today, I snuck Gabby's meds in some giblet gravy...but I forgot to put it back in the refrigerator this morning, when I came home I was greeted by some turkeys & the giblet tupperware container was on the floor! he he he
