well this morning is one of those mornings that i have to keep repeating to myself "i love my animals, i love my animals, i love my animals.."

My apartment looks like a crack house from the outside... the blinds on my back door are missing 6 blinds (Al did that), the cats have ruined my bedroom blinds, living room blinds, and the "office" blinds. This morning Reese's is on a freakin' high and is playing in the office blinds again, uhggg..

I've noticed Al gaining a little weight lately so i cut back on his food just a little bit, well this morning after i fed everyone (the cats eat up on the table) i got in the shower and on my way out of the shower and into the kitchen i see Al with his legs on his raised feeder (that i made out of wood and painted so its a sturdy lil' piece) he had taken his paw and moved BOTH cat bowls and was chowing down on cat food, he had his own lil' cat food buffett! i've thought the cats had been eating a lil' more than usual but i figured with it being winter maybe they were just "stocking" up.. well NO my precious lil' does no wrong Al had figured out a way to get to their food!

Hannah I think you have been outsmarted by Mr Do No Wrong Al. No wonder you are in a crabby mood I would be too

Now we know why Al is getting a little chunky. You cut his food back, and he's replacing it with the kitty food.

Damn, these dogs are just way to smart.

You never know with them I sometimes think they are smarter than two legged kids. The can always figure a way to get even with us.

now i feel bad for the kitties, if i was gone for 8 or so hours a day i just thought they ate all the food but nope it was Al... wonder if they are mad at me?

I do not think Al is Hannah he is probably saying food and I have such a good mommy to leave all this for me

i know but are the kitties mad at me.. did they go hungry a day or two?!

I hope not but the kitties will have to learn to eat before Mr. Do No Wrong gets to it. Kitties should be mad at Al they probably saw you put down the food

Don'tcha' sometimes feel sometimes feel like it would just be easier and less stressful to open a daycare? I'm really not laughing at your pain, Hannah... Ok, maybe a little But only as someone who stepped in a cold horked up hairball first thing this morning.

I do not believe this story....there is no way you saw Al doing that...he was threatened...I'm sure!!! It happens at my house, the cats make Gogh stand up & get stuff out of the sink...or they make Jack bark in the middle of the night...these beautiful, graceful, loyal greyhounds do not do this on their own.

That's right, you know. Cats are criminal masterminds. They don't usually do the bad stuff; they come up with the plot, convince the poor houndie to commit the dastardly deed, then just sit back and enjoy the ensuing chaos.

I really do believe that you are both right. Those cats are the mastermind and tell Al what to do. They probably did not want that food and to let Hannah think they ate it they had Al eat it for them. Bady kitties

That's why we don't have cats anymore. We caught them in the act making the dogs get stuff out of the trash can at gunpoint! Then when the dogs get yelled at, I could hear the cats in the other room laughing.

We also decided not to have any house cats those feral cats have been trying to get the kids in trouble. One day they told the girls to get all the tuna in the house and bring it out to them but we heard them and put a stop to it. another time they told the kids to get all the toys that had bells in them and give them up. Oh how we can tell stories

Oh my goodness, that is too funny.

My front yard got cut yesterday by my neighbor...I keep doing a head count when they come in from out back the grass is so high I'm afraid someone's going to drown in the grass!!!

The crack house is the same ol' same ol'.. yelling at cats when their bodies are halfway through the blinds.... but i still love 'em
