We came in from an early romp in the snow this morning (they got me up at 6am) and I was sitting here reading emails & greyhound sites & I looked over & Snowy was dozing on the couch. She's so beautiful. At 13 1/2 she's still going strong & still nosey.
People ask all the time about how well dogs do after breaking their hocks while racing, she's done fine. She only stands on 3 legs, resting that "broken" one on her toes...but when it comes to running & jumping...its as if she's still 5 yrs old & has 4 good legs.

You know what, no matter how many greyhounds I see, I'm still overwhelmed by their beauty and soulfulness. I have never seen such expressive eyes as greyhounds have in any dog. I'm a little biased I guess but Snowy and all the other greyhounds are just so beautiful - inside and out. Lorraine

I have to agree...when I think of the time my grandmother walked us over to the dog trailer, I remember seeing their eyes thru the cracks in the trailer.
Of all the greyhounds I've ever seen...I've never seen an ugly one. They're all so beautiful & have such beautiful souls.
