I tell ya...when it rains, it pours
I had just let everyone outside, left the door open. I heard Pipi outside barking frantically & I went to the door & there's Snowy stretched out in the grass...all the dogs standing around her, Pipi barking her alarm bark.
Snowy struggled to get up, the grass is wet...and I knew then what had happened. I grabbed my cell phone & called my vet at home, he met me at the clinic & he said it looked like the same thing, a stroke. So she's staying with him for a few days. Bless her heart.
Snowy is 13 1/2 & her other stroke was in November.

Oh Hilda, I am so sorry. I know your hounds mean the world to you. I hope and pray she will be ok.

As soon as he calls me, hopefully tonight...with an update, I will let ya'll know. Everyone is so supportive here.
I have to give credit to Pipi for alerting me...she's always been good about letting me know when someone was left outside or a cat is at the door wanting in, but she was frantically barking & running circles around Snowy...it was just amazing!

Well I went to sleep about 7:30 and just woke up to see that no one called. My back/shoulder is hurting now from lifting & carrying her, so I took some TylenolPM to hopefully clear up the pain & put me back to sleep.
Since he didn't call, then I know she's okay & there is no change.

No news is good news, so I'm praying Snowy will be ok. I guess you'll get an update today.

Got my call!!! Snowy is doing good, she's able to stand on her own! She's staying another night for observation, but can come home tomorrow after I get off work!!!

that's GREYT news, I'm so happy for the both of you.

I'm very excited. I've cancelled everything this week so I can be home with her after work. She's not very affectionate & doesn't want alot of attention, but I just feel like I need to be home with her for the first few days or weeks.
Ya'll will probably get alot of Snowy pictures for a while.
