How much water does a greyhound need each day? We always have the water bowl filled outside and we fill up the water bowls inside a few times a day.

Every time water in put down, they drink it like crazy, like they never had water.

Is this normal?

We have a 5 gallon dispenser in the living room and a 1 gallon in the dining room and Belle has a quart stainless steel container in her crate and we go through most of that in a day. The farm where Belle and Jams are from had large buckets in each kennel and they were filled at least 2 x day according to the weather sometimes more often

Bear and Lincoln would drink and drink til they drunk all our water. Guess it's a puppy thing.
