ST. LEVAN, England (UPI) -- A St. Levan, England, woman said she is not angry with a fox that devoured her chickens on two separate occasions.
Terri Strick was trying to harvest some eggs for breakfast one day this month when she discovered a plump, lazy fox relaxing in her chicken coop amid a scattered array of bloody feathers, The Daily Mail (Britain) reported.
The hungry fox, which Strick dubbed Basil, had eaten a half dozen chickens from the coop in the previous week and had apparently come back to finish his large meal.
The fox must have eaten more than it could handle because it remained lazing around in the chicken coop all day, despite people constantly arriving to get a peak at him.
"It's nature I suppose. If you live in the country it's what you have to put up with," Strick said.
