Anyone here like to read?! I'm looking for the next great book to read! I like John Grisham and Mary Higgins Clark. I just read my frist James Patterson book (1st to die) and i wasn't that impressed.
Anyhoo, the library just sent me an e-mail telling me the book i want is there (its a Ben Rehder book, Guilt Trip) but i was going to look for another one while i was there today..
any suggestions for a good book?!!

Patricia Cornwell
Jonathon Kellerman (his wife too can't think of her first name)
I also like Tom Clancey and Ken Follett (but those are spy type books)
Try James Patterson's earlier stuff like Kiss the Girls, Along Came a Spider (there are a bunch that have a character named Sonaji -sp??-) they are alot better.
Hope that helps with some summer reading.

Love the book threads. I always get some good suggestions!
I just started reading Dean Koontz. Never thought I'd be that interested, but then I heard him on a radio interview and became intrigued (he's really involved in Golden Retriever rescue), so I picked up some of his stuff at the Library.

I love Dean Koontz! He's the west coast's Stephen King. I haven't read anything from Dean in a long time, but just love his work.

So far, none of the Koontz I've read is scary at all. There were supernatural elements, but the books were mostly mysteries. And The Longest Evening of the Year is about a woman who does Golden Retriever rescue.

Just remember to apply sunblock before going outside to read in the sunshine ... I have a hard time putting a good book down. Maybe you will have time to read them all this summer.
