A friend told me that they received an email about protesting the high gas prices.
It said not to buy gas on Friday May 2, the companies will lose alot of money.
We should set a day a week not to buy gas and send them a message.
You can ignore this or send the message to all of your contacts on your email list.

unfortunatly this won't work, e-mails like this have gone around for a long time now.. if we don't buy the gas on May 2nd then we'll get it on the 1st or 3rd to make up for it... i've heard some people say the way to actually protest gas prices is to boycott one major company (this includes all "branches" because some are connected)
maybe this scenario of not buying gas on one day would work if nobody drove on that day and we wouldn't have to make up that gas we used on that day... cuz just because we don't buy gas on the 2nd doesn't mean we aren't using their product that day...
