When are these sums correct?

6+8=5
21-10=2
9x8=9
46/2=5
(6x5)-(4+9)=8
62/(5+3-6)=4

They're correct when the answer is the sum of the real answer's digits.

6+8=14 (sum is 5)
21-10=11 (sum is 2)
9x8=72 (9)
46/2=23 (5)
(6x5)-(4+9)=17 (8)
62/(5+3-6)=31 (4)

huh????????
