While Bear and Lincoln were out playing tonight, they always run into the bushes that are around the fences, don't know why? and when they came in, I noticed Bear had a small gash on top of his right side. It wasn't bleeding but was a little puffy.
I didn't know if he did it outside, a tree branch got it or if it was the storm and he got scared while in his crate?
So, we called the vet and we brought him in and they stitched it up. We are all home now, Bear is in a drunken, dizzy state from the local so he should sleep fine tonight.
Just say prayers that he will be ok.

Ouch!!!! Poor boy. I hope Bear's doing better today. With this heat, I'm sure the hounds will lay around and do nothing all day. That'll help Bear to.

He is doing much better. The Big D is pretty much gone. They'll be resting today, but tomorrow we have an outdoor event in NJ for GAA. We will only be taking Lincoln, Bear and Paisley. We are leaving the old girls at home, Suzy and Milky. Will be to hot for them. Trish has the X-Pens, tarp to cover the X-Pen to keep the heat and sun off. They are going tohave plenty of ice, kiddie pools and there will be water at the park for the doggies. Plus, there is a nice stream at the park edge, so I can take them there to cool off. Also, they said if our guys get to hot, I can take them up to the kennel. Patricia will be watching the girls at our house.
