Here are pictures

My sister hand-engraved the jar. She drew the design free-hand and affixed it to the inside of the jar and attached a grinder bit to her dremel tool and hand-engraved the glass tracing the design she affixed to the inside of the jar. I told her that she needs to start selling stuff like this to greyhound folks (and other critter lovers) because I think she could make some money to supliment her income.
The jar is approximately 22 1/2" in circumference
approximately 7 3/4" tall to the jar opening
approximately 9 1/2" tall to the top of the lid
She asked me how much she should charge. I did a search of hand-engraved glass on the internet and found a wide range of prices. From about $5.00 for cheap, mass-produced Chinese glass to over $100. I found a 5" tall hand-engraved pencil holder for $25.
I am not sure how much she should charge. She hasn't tracked her time in completing a piece. She has made several pieces, so far each one custom made as a gift or special request and has never charged anyone for her work.
Any ideas? Maybe charge by the hour, but how much per hour? Eventually she probably could have a standardized price if she repeats the same piece.
Thanks,
Annette
