Welp, this has been an adventurous week. Mommy got the window unit in & we've been chilli dogs all week.
Today duh airconditioner man is here & they are putting in a new unit. Mommy has stuck us in the bedroom & wiff all these hot little bodies in here, its hot....well its warm. Herz in the den where the unit is...I guess its okay since she paid for it. But its getting close to our dinner time.
They're hurrying...but I wants my dinner.
I'm hoping since its 2 guys, they can get it all done today. We can hold dinner! he he he

Yay! Cool air!!

Well they got the furnace in the closet, they got the blower thingy outside...but they're not connected. So they're coming back NEXT Saturday & finish. That's okay...at least the stuff is here, its in place & the house is still cool from the window unit. Here's proof.

Good morning everyone! Its not too bad at all.
I went to sleep last night before dark...I was laying on the bed with Gogh last night watching Monsters Inc & next thing I knew the tv cut itself off & all was dark...I was cold!
So I turned over & went back to sleep. They let me sleep until 5:15 and then everyone had to go potty.
I didn't get up again until about 7:15. I came in here & Jack & Banker were stretched out sleeping so I didn't even get them up. The good thing is that I have the curtains closed during the day & that keeps the cooler air in the house.
I have an oscillating fan & a box fan in my bedroom, a box fan & the ceiling fan in the den, an oscillating fan in the kitchen & a window unit in the kennel room which is now unoccupied. The box fan in the den is actually in the hallway pulling the cool air from the window unit in there towards the center of the house...so all is good.
They pulled out the "coil" yesterday & took it outside for me to see...ya'll. Its no wonder my house never cooled off good. It was matted with dog/cat hair & dust. Now remember the unit was 20 yrs old & the people before me had 2 dalmations...so we can't credit my doggies & cats with this dasterly deed....but there were 2 small places for air to go out...He had told me if we replaced anything it would be the coil & he was right. He said this new unit will probably freeze me out! I say bring it on!!!

Glad you have the situation under control with all the fans. Our attic fan does a greyt job here cooling the house down..

Hey that's right, I'll have to tell Steve next week that this isn't greyhound hair, they don't shed. he he he

non shedding greyhounds - thats why I find clumps in all corners of the house

Our guys are at our other house til we get the A/C fixed at the house I am in. So, it's just me and the kitties for now.
