These past several days have been so hot that I brought Misty a small wading pool. I get it together yesterday and her teeth were going a mile a minute, she was so happy, so, she stepped in and just stood there. I was telling her to lay down, cool off, instead she drank some water out of the pool. Well, at least her feet and part of her legs cooled off. May be she will sit or lay in it tomorrow or later today. She is so funny.

That's cool Patricia. Mine love theirs, Sky and Time will lay in it but so far not Nature or Anna

Did you know that by getting their feet wet they are cooling off. I used to get upset when they would put their feet in their drinking water when we were out until I was told that is how they cool off

Misty sounds like mine. They like to get in & get a drink then
get back out.

Ty is the same way but he won't drink the water ... for that matter he will only get in if the water is clean (he is so spoiled ).

Isis loves her wading pool. She hops in and lays down for a minute then gets out to shake all over the others.

The 3 boys do not like to get their feet wet, so she has it all to herself.

Oh girl, Pipi loves her pool. She doesn't like being squirted with the water hose, but that girl will lay in her pool.
The other night we had a nice little fun run & the people had a wading pool for their greys, she immediately got in it. She's such a hoot.

Mine love their pool, too, all except Diego (the IG). The thinks it's wonderful as a giant water bowl in the middle of the yard, but he's sure he's going to melt if he were to actually get wet. He hates water!
