Full Version: Will you still drive
dad2paisley
Would you drive if gas prices go over $5?
Beryl
I would have to to shop, go to work and take the fur kids to the vets but would not do as much driving. I have cut back on driving since the gas has gone up

I'll still drive, I'll just be more selective about when I use my car. I'm still planning to drive to Wasilla (300 miles south) on Wednesday, and I'll have to get gas part way down and gas will be at least $5/gal at that station. The things I'd normally use my car for, like going to the library or running to the movie store, I'll probably start riding my bike.

Gas prices are bad enough, but it's heating fuel that killing us. At almost $5/gal, I don't know what's going to happen this winter. We're going to put a wood stove in the house this summer - that's gotta' help. It really ticks me off, though - the oil pipeline is less than 5 miles from my house, and we have a refinery 13 miles away and we're still paying well over $4/gal for gas and fuel. It's a total pisser.

Another thing that ticks me off Bush could release some of the oil reserve and most of all is the high profits these oil companies are getting

We still have to drive to work and drive to get dog food, so no matter what we will still have to drive. We will cut down on other driving though like M&G's which will stink.

I'm going to check and see what it would cost to have dog food sent right here if not to $$ then we can do some M&G's
