My husband and I are going to Grapehounds for the first time. I am so excited and cannot wait to see all the beautiful hounds. I really want to see a Blue greyhound and I hope someone has one because I have never seen a blue greyhound.

blue greys are beautiful we have a white/blue but more white than anything else. Not going am saving up for Dewey

No, we can't go. We can't get off work. We love pictures, so take lots so we can see.

We were lucky enough to be able to go the first 2 years, but due to our boy having osteo and the cost of treatment we are unable to attend this year.

You will have a terrific time. The area is just beautiful and the winerys welcome you with open arms. I hope you take advantage of the cook-outs the group offers, they do a wonderful job with this event.

The winerys usually have doggie treats and human treats also, so enjoy.

Be sure to get to Americana Winery, last year if you bought 4 bottles of wines they would take your greyhounds picture and create a lable for you to put on your bottles. They turned out pretty good. Also, another winery which we enjoyed was Knapp.

There are plenty of restaurants in the area, so enjoy your trip, be safe and Skip and I will be thinking of you. You will have a wonderful time, again the winerys are just great and treat you and your hounds like family.

I am so excited. I get to go to my 1st grapehounds in six days. I was with my adoption group this evening and they decided to join my husband and I at Kidders. So now at dinner there will be 8 people and 7 hounds. I will definetly take picutres of this at the resteraunt and post pics when I get back.

DH and I are going with out pups Ben and Bailey...this will be our first time so we are really looking forward to it.

I'm looking forward to it mainly because I need a holiday...don't let this out, but I really hate wine...so I'll be a terrific D driver.

Interestingly enough, we live in Waterloo, ON and are staying in Waterloo, NY. I'm really looking forward to the Outlet. Oh yeah, and the vendors. Plus gas is cheaper in the states and our dollar is almost par...yes, life is good.

Nope, would like to but when I mention it to hubby he always says he is way to redneck for a wine tour ... when Budweiser or Coors offers a greyhound weekend he'll go . I am demanding a trip to GIG next year however, putting my foot down, temper tantrum and everything! I want to go on a ghost walk darn it!!!
Don't want to hijack thread but greytpups you only live about an hour from me (giant mouse appears singing "It's a small world after all ...). Are you going to Hugs for Hounds?
