I cannot believe its been 4 years. I remember going to the adoption kennel & hearing about these 4 puppies that were brought in. They were 18 months old, 3 sisters & a brother....Pleaser, Passion, Star & Go. The girls were brindles & he was black...4 white tippy toes & a white chest & these huge eyes. The girls were sweet...playful & very petite. The boy, he was so shy & afraid...no one could touch him. None of them raced. They could barely get him in the starting box & then once in there, he wouldn't come out. 18 months old!!! I went back to see them, the girls were so cute...they had them toward the front of the kennel, but he was in the back, in a bottom crate since he'd run in the crate, but you couldn't put your hands on him unless you got him inside the crate & then crawled in with him. He wouldn't let anyone touch him. I even tried going outside with just me & him, he'd stay on the far side of everywhere.
Jan kept saying, When are you taking Go home. I'm like I can't...I already have too many. So she gave up. She calls me on my cell phone & said Can you go by & pick up Go at the vet? He had his shots & surgery? I said sure. She said Don't bring him here....take him home. So I did as I was instructed. That was 4 years ago. Here's Go...now known as Gogh, my favorite artist is Vincent Van Gogh...so I made him even more unique by changing his name to Gogh vs Go. It fits him well. He's a very unique puppy.
He was not cat safe...Holly even tested him before he came home...He was a No Go.
