Yeah, I think I would let Paypal know about this. Very interesting.

I have sent them a copy and kept the e-mail. When they wanted my expiration date there was a message in e-bay this time there wasn't so I am fairly sure this is bogus. Usually your name, and the name you use on e-bay is on the e-mail.

I wonder what they would do if you gave them bogus information. This is creepy.

Hi Beryl:

I have received this message many times. I delete it as junk. It's a way for scammers to get your information so they can use it. I've also gotten the same kind of message from Ebay. The best way to report it is to forward it to Paypal.

If Paypal, Ebay, or any other on line business wants information, they will ask for it when you log in. I am so tired of junk email. But there doesn't seem to be any way to stop them. mad.gif

The best rule is to never reply to anyone who asks for personal information on line (especially passwords and bank account info). Call or go to your accounts before giving anyone information!!!

I have reported it and I do not open or answer any questions. I always check e-bay messages for anything pertaining to e-bay. I only posted this to make sure that people are aware of what is going on. Once I have information off of my Yahoo account for e-bay my yahoo account is not registered on e-bay and I turned that in to Yahoo and this same person had been pulling and trying to pull this scam all over e-bay.
