A MAN WHO RUSHED into his burning house in a daring bid to save his PC has been arrested for disorderly conduct.

The fire, in Winona in the US, happened at a two-story house but no one noticed and it was well under way by the time the fire crew arrived.

Nicholas Christopher Guy, 53, showed up and was a Nintendo bit sauced up and was 'tired and emotional' about the fire. Coppers tried to calm him down and tell him to stand back and let the fire-fighters do their jobs.

For a while Guy agreed, but when no one was watching, battled the flames and smoke to sneak inside to save his PC. He wasn’t injured, but needed a bit of help getting out again.

Coppers were furious because he jeopardised the safety of numerous emergency personnel.

The house was gutted in the fire so chances are the computer would not have made it out unassisted either.
